The article “Deep Learning-Based Event Counting for Apnea-Hypopnea Index Estimation using Recursive Spiking Neural Networks” authored by dr. Lorin Werthen-Brabants et. al. was selected as a featured article by the Editorial Board of the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering in the April Issue, 2025. The work is a close collaboration with imec The Netherlands and the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) in Barcelona, Spain.
