Recently the living room and kitchen of HomeLab were equipped with 12 high performance FLIR Blackfly S GigE cameras which allow to provide ground truth information of the exact location and posture of multiple test subjects without cumbersome marker suits or equipment. Powered by the CapturyLive processing software and a state-of-the-art computing infrastructure you can gather real-time datasets of full body poses and activities in a realistic 60m2 home environment.
This system will be used to further improve the positioning and activity tracking solutions based on UWB and indoor radar technologies, researched by the wireless team, under supervision of Eli De Poorter, for applications such as assisted care and health services.
